1. Run the free quickstart

The script discovers Diamond’s tools, recommends an output-check service, and requests a 0.01 USDC fee-planner quote. It contains no wallet, signing code or payment step.

The checked client negotiated MCP 2025-11-25, discovered 14 tools and completed free search, free recommendation and an unpaid x402 quote. A quote returned with isError: true is the x402 payment request; it does not mean money was transferred.

2. Choose your analysis

search() and recommend() are free. Each paid call is a separate purchase. Inspect the current quote before authorizing payment.

3. Authorize a purchase with your paying client

MCP discovery alone does not give a client payment capability. The free quickstart stops at the quote. A paying client needs an x402-compatible wallet funded with USDC on Base.

Review structuredContent.accepts: check the amount, Base network, USDC asset and recipient against your spending policy.
Sign locally. For MCP, retry the same tool and arguments with the authorization in params._meta["x402/payment"]. For HTTP, use PAYMENT-SIGNATURE.
Read the result and payment receipt. After uncertain delivery, preserve and reuse the original authorization instead of automatically signing a fresh payment.
